  1. Although you asked Google, but not me, I'm going to answer anyway, because I want to encourage some dialogue here. You in Massachusetts asked for "progressed Venus conjunct Mercury." I'm going to assume you mean natal Mercury.

As a stand-alone, this is not a highly significant progression, however, it should be very noticeable in your life because it involves two personal planets. It's a pleasant conjunction.

Mercury represents communication in all forms of reading, writing, and speaking, from books and newspapers to telephones and gossip. It rules our rational mind and ability to think and to reason. It also represents siblings, youthful people, neighbors, and our immediate environment, as well as short, quick trips such as running errands around town. Generally trips are limited to a distance that could reasonably be made by bicycle in no more than a day.

Venus represents all that is pleasant, attractive, feminine, and lucrative.

Possible outcomes of this conjunction include good or happy (Venus) news (Mercury) that may concern a sibling, child, or neighbor (Mercury). Maybe a person who fits that description will come into your life at this time. It may be a year in which a job takes you around town, and in which you will make many pleasant social contacts, or maybe one that involves the media or public relations. Perhaps you will read a book that changes your life for the better, or begin writing your own memoirs. It can indicate a year in which your mind is at ease, relieved of worry that has plagued you in the past. Your mind and tongue should become sweeter.

In order to narrow down the field of possibilities, look to the house that Mercury occupies in your natal chart.

Also look to the houses that it rules in your natal chart (where Gemini and Virgo are located).

Check to see if any other progressed planets are making an aspect to natal Mercury. How about to progressed Mercury?

If the houses that Mercury rule and the one it occupies are intercepted, or if it rules the sign on the cusp of a house that contains an interception, are there progressed aspects to the other planet involved?

Does the conjunction receive any aspects from transiting outer planets this year? A trine from Jupiter would increase the joy, a trine from Uranus would bring surprising or unexpected news. On the other hand, a square from Saturn could bring sad news regarding a female (Venus) sibling, child, or neighbor (Mercury), or a delay in an outcome that was expected. Check those long-term transits by the other planets.

Use your ephemeris to find the eclipses and new moons in the year ahead. Do any of them aspect the Venus and Mercury conjunction? Do any of them aspect the second planet involved in any possible interceptions? Do the eclipses or lunations fall in the same houses of the progressed chart that Mercury occupies and rules in the natal chart? Remember that it usually takes three aspects indicating the same thing to result in a noteworthy event.
