  2. You're the best, Lesia. Thank you so much for coming up with this beautiful tribute to Queen Snark. Seriously. That rocked.

  3. Thanks, Leary. It was really short notice. Wish I'd had more time, more pictures, been able to use an upbeat song. It's not a funeral. It only feels like one.

Hey Angie. It's so nice to hear from you. I hope you've been well. I'm glad you liked the video, too. She is going to be SO missed!

  5. Thanks, Mindy. What a coincidence! That's exactly what I wish for you and Miss Snark, too! Amazing!

  6. Oh boy! I've played your vid about 8 times. Now it's posted on my blog. Damn. Excellent video but a tear jerker. What the heck? How can she have nothing more to say? Maybe if she didn't want to talk about publishing, that's fine by me. I'd be there if she wanted to blog about Killer Yapp or Grandma Snark. It's not like I can drive over to her place, give her some gin, remind her of the good old times and convince her to come back either.

  7. Hey, CD. Glad you liked the vid. I miss her already, too, but you know sometimes we all have to rearrange our priorities because life happens, and maybe that's what she's doing. We love her, so we wish her well, right? I'm glad she's only retiring, and not something worse.

  8. It's a sad, sad turn of events. Your video is fabulous, though. You are so good at this.

  9. All true Southern but I'll check that blog 'til the end of time like some old hound dog poking around waiting for her to come back.

  10. Thanks SJ. It was a pleasure and an honor to do it for her.

Well, hell yeah, CD. It goes without saying, doesn't it? I will, too. I think all the Snarklings will.

Lesia, time to get back to the world without Ms. Snark.

  12. It's obvious you aren't a Snarkling, Steve. If you were, you'd know better than to call her MS. Snark. She'd aim her clue gun at you, and make you Nitwit of the Day.

  13. Watching the video and reading the comments about MS. Snark makes me feel as if I missed out on something special. Like getting to the parade just in time to watch everyone going home.

  14. That's a great analogy, NYD. I'm sorry you never got to be Nitwit of the Day, but you can still read Miss Snark's blog. She left it up, so new writers will be able to learn for years to come. It will still be visited ten years from now, if she never writes another word on it.

I'm glad you stopped by. It's good to see you here, even if it's time for me to go.

  17. Really? My memory is so bad. I don't know if it's because the 70's were good to me, or if I'm just old. How did it happen?

  18. Not sure if you heard about this but, here's an example of Karma in its greatest form: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18911849/from/ET/

  19. Even though in a roundabout way, he killed my cat, and heaped tons of other misery on my head, I wouldn't sentence him to death. But since a lot of people died at his hands, I have to say, it's poetic justice. I was just thinking the other night that China is trying to kill off the world. Thanks for letting me know.
